After starring in the ice hockey-themed series, Hudson Williams was invited by Dsquared2 to open their fall/winter fashion show.
Following his global fame from the HBO series Heated Rivalry, Hudson Williams had the opportunity to participate in Milan Fashion Week in a special role: opening the Dsquared2 Fall/Winter 2026 show.
As a Canadian star and the lead actor in a film centered around ice hockey, Hudson Williams was considered the perfect choice to showcase the Italian fashion house’s fall/winter collection. The connection between fashion, sports, and the spirit of winter was evident from the moment he stepped onto the runway.
Dean and Dan Caten, the two founders of Dsquared2, also hail from Canada. Taking advantage of the global sensation created by Heated Rivalry, the design duo seized the opportunity to pay tribute to their homeland. Dsquared2 shared that their Fall/Winter 2026 collection is “a vibrant celebration of the cold winter, expressed through sports, fantasy concepts, and confident performances.”
Reflecting the need for cold weather attire, the collection features puffer jackets, athletic wear, and layering for warmth—essential items for snow-covered adventures. Hudson Williams, in particular, appeared in a more casual outfit with a denim jacket and jeans. The only detail directly reminiscent of his role as Shane Hollander was his hockey shoes.
The Dsquared2 show marked Hudson Williams’ first time walking the runway. However, this wasn’t the only high-fashion moment for the Canadian actor recently. At the recent Golden Globe Awards, he appeared wearing BVLGARI’s Serpenti high-end jewelry, creating a romantic image that quickly topped the search rankings on social media platforms.
Not only Hudson Williams, but his co-star Connor Storrie also garnered significant attention on the global media influence rankings during this year’s Golden Globes. The duo’s fame truly exploded since their portrayals of Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, two opposing ice hockey players who are entangled in a secret love affair that could ruin both their hockey careers.
It is expected that the appeal of Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie will continue as HBO has officially greenlit the second season of the series Heated Rivalry.
